Middle School Camp:
This is a 5 night/6 day High Performance Running Camp for runners 6th Grade – 8th graders who love to run. The camp is for the runner who has already competed in a JO Running program or has been a part of an organized sports program such as soccer or JO XC/Track and is eager to improve their knowledge, to learn how to set goals and to train with their peers.
High School Camps:
These camp are a 6 night/7 day High Performance Running Camp for the 9th-12th grade runners who want to take their knowledge and fitness base to the next level. Head Coach - Lisa Rainsberger is the last American to have won the Boston Marathon. She brings a wealth of knowledge that includes 20 years of Professional Athletic Performance and 15 years of Professional Coaching. These camps are limited to 18-20 runners and they camp fill quickly. If you would like more information contact Coach Lisa. Flight and Ground transportation to the camp are not provided.
Middle School Camp June 24-29th 4:00pm arrival 11:00am departure (6th grade - 8th grade)
Emerging* High School Camp July 22nd-28th. 4:00pm arrival 11:00am departure. *The Emerging High School Camp is for up and coming and younger high school runner, Coach Lisa will help determine which of the HS camps your runner will attend.
Performance** High School Camp July 29th - August 4th. 4pm arrival and 11am departure. ** This camp is for Varsity Juniors and Seniors and the advanced runner committed to running in college.
Location: Frisco, Colorado located at 9,500’ elevation
Cost: $600.00 Middle School, $675.00 High School Camps (all inclusive) **I do suggest sending some spending money for heading into town.

To educate and empower youth athletes on the aspects of training, nutrition, mental focus of racing and all that goes into taking your athlete to the next level. This is a camp that will focus on what it takes to get better and not primarily a “boot camp” or over distance camp. I will prepare them for how to train when injured, how to mentally focus for the big race, how to overcome doubt and how to visualize winning. “It is the small stuff that leads to greatness”.
In addition to a comprehensive training schedule which includes running up to Mohawk Lake, elevation 12,800’, an afternoon canoeing on Lake Dillon, an afternoon with a Yoga Instructor learning the values and benefits of yoga and flexibility for runners, an afternoon at the Silverthorn Recreational Center learning how to run in the deep water followed by a very competitive game of water volleyball. After dinners we head over to the Summit County MS for a fast and furious game of barefoot soccer. Exhaustion is free!
